) announced today that David A. Dodd, President and Chief Executive Officer, has recently been awarded the prestigious Oglethorpe Sword, a ceremonial broad sword given annually to an American or British businessperson who has contributed significantly to Anglo-Georgia business interests. The award was presented by Michael Bates, British Consul General of Atlanta, during the annual Oglethorpe Ball, hosted by the British American Business Group of Atlanta (BABG BABG British American Business Group (Atlanta, GA) ).

In conjunction with that event, Mr. Dodd is scheduled to speak at the Bio-Dundee Annual International Conference on Friday, March 18, 2005. More than 200 delegates from the international biotech industry will be in attendance for Dodd's presentation on "Creating a Sustainable Bio-Business."
