) today announced that David A. Chazanovitz will join the Company as President and Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mr. Chazanovitz joins Cambridge Heart with 28 years experience in sales, marketing and general management of medical products businesses, ranging from early stage device companies to larger more established businesses. As former President of the C. R. Bard C. R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE: BCR) is one of the large S&P 500 companies of the United States, a surgical specialties and hospital medical device manufacturer in Murray Hill, New Jersey. It is named after its founder, who sold the company within only a few years of its founding.  Electrophysiology division he has direct knowledge of Cambridge Heart's customers and markets.
