Oh the presumptuousness of this fabulous feline, Fifi la Belle, cat extraordinaire. The title page says it all: the arched brow and knowing air of a cat who knows it has arrived. Well ..., in this case Fifi la Belle is taken on a journey, from the Paris cafe in the heart of Parnell to (we presume) the pristine place called Picton. However, it is the interisland in·ter·is·land

Relating to, involving, or connecting two or more islands: interisland competition; interisland ferries.
ferry where Fifi has her greatest adventure revealing that pompous pussies can persuade even careful captains that they deserve the very best. (Adults who read this aloud will delight in the take on the Titanic.) Readers who enjoyed earlier stories of Fifi la Belle will continue to delight also in the rollicking verse, the challenge of reading it out aloud. JMcK
