) has announced on behalf of the board that Dave Orton, currently ATI's President and COO, will become CEO on June 1. The announcement is a natural succession in the transition planned when Mr. Orton joined ATI in 2000, and will not require any changes to ATI's management structure. Mr. Ho will remain as Chairman, and continue to focus on ATI's strategic business relationships.

In unrelated news, Terry Nickerson, ATI's CFO See Chief Financial Officer. , has announced that he is planning to retire as soon as a replacement has been found. Mr. Nickerson is approaching his 65th birthday. He will participate in the search process, support the handover, and then move into a consultancy/advisory role.
