Dave Navarro to Launch Fan-Generated Website in Conjunction With Release of Capitol Records and ReganBooks Debuts.

Navarro to Premiere Entire Album, Interview Disc, and Video for Fans

During ``All Access Weekend,'' May 18th-20th

Jane's Addiction Jane's Addiction was an American rock band featuring Perry Farrell (vocalist), Dave Navarro (guitarist), Eric Avery (bassist), and Stephen Perkins (percussionist). The band formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1980s and dissolved in 1991.  founding guitarist and former Red Hot Chili Peppers Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983. David Michael Navarro (born June 7, 1967) is a guitarist who has played in the rock bands Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
 announced today that he will launch his personal website, http://davenavarro.net, at the end of May.

The launch precedes the release of his explosive Capitol Records Capitol Records is a major United States-based record label, owned by EMI, located in Hollywood, California. Its headquarters building, the Capitol Tower, is a major landmark near the corner of Hollywood and Vine.  debut solo album, Trust No One, in stores June 19th, and ReganBooks publishing debut with Neil Strauss, Don't Try This at Home, out July 2nd. A collaboration between Navarro and his fans, the website will include video clips A short video presentation.  and photos inspired by the album and book sent in by fans along with Navarro's home videos, personal content created on his home computer, and photographs that did not make it into the book.

 on Friday, May 18th through Sunday, May 20th, Navarro will give fans the exclusive chance to hear the entire album, listen to Navarro's track-by-track commentary on each of the album's songs, and watch the world online premiere of the video for "Rexall," the album's first single arriving at radio May 18th, as well as the making of the video on http://davenavarro.net/allaccess. On May 21st, Capitol Records will also launch a Dave Navarro channel on http://upoc.com, a service that enables users to exchange text and voice messages with friends and receive up-to-the-minute information all from a cell phone or text pager. Starting May 23rd, Navarro will leave fans personal messages on their cell phones or two-way pagers every day for 10 days about a different song on the album and include a preview of that song.

Inspired by the photo-booth where Navarro's parents met in the Rexall drugstore in Hollywood, "Rexall" sets the tone of the album in general with its edgy reflections on life, love, trust, and fear. "Rexall" also relates to Don't Try This at Home, a volume detailing a year in Navarro's life that includes photographs taken of visitors in the drugstore photo-booth installed in his home.
