Dave & Buster's, Inc. Provides Preliminary Results of Annual Shareholder Meeting Vote.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 2003

Dave & Buster's, Inc. (NYSE:DAB) announced preliminary results of today's annual shareholder meeting vote. These results are based on preliminary reports from the Company's proxy solicitor.

    --  On Proposal One, the preliminary results indicate that a
        majority of the shares voted were cast in favor of the
        election of the Company's slate of nominees to the Board:
        James W. "Buster" Corley, Peter A. Edison, and Patricia
        Priest.

    --  On Proposal Two, the preliminary results indicate that a
        majority of the shares voted were cast in favor of the
        ratification of Ernst & Young, LLP as the Company's
        independent auditors for the current fiscal year.

The preliminary results are subject to final tabulation and certification by IVS Associates, Inc., the independent inspector of election. In addition, the results are subject to the customary review and challenge period. Dave & Buster's expects that the final report will be issued by IVS within a few weeks.
