Datron Systems Elects Richard W. Flatow to Its Board of Directors; Replaces Michael F. Bigham Who Resigned in December.

Datron Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: DTSI) today announced that Richard W. Flatow was elected to its board of directors at a special board meeting held January 29, 2001. He replaces Michael F. Bigham who resigned as director on December 4, 2000. Datron's board consists of six directors.

Richard W. Flatow is president of RWF Enterprises, a management consulting firm he founded in 1992. Mr. Flatow provides general and marketing management services to primarily consumer products and distribution companies. He has extensive experience in all channels of distribution and recently has been advising early stage Internet companies on start-up strategies. He is currently a director of AML Communications, Inc. and serves on the boards of several private companies. Prior to founding his consulting practice, he was Chairman and CEO of Avalon Marketing, Inc. and held several executive positions with Avon Products, Inc.
