Datron Rejects Unfounded Charges in KVH Lawsuit.

) today announced it has been advised that a lawsuit has reportedly been filed against its wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners.

The lawsuit, apparently filed by KVH Industries KVH Industries Incorporated is an electronics firm based in Middletown, Rhode Island. The company produces electronic compasses, fiber optic gyroscopes, and control systems for satellite dishes. External Links

 (Nasdaq:KVHI) of Middletown, Rhode Island Middletown is a town in Newport County, Rhode Island, United States. The population was 17,335 at the 2000 census. It lies to the south of Portsmouth and to the north of Newport on Aquidneck Island, hence the name "Middletown. , alleges patent infringement patent infringement n. the manufacture and/or use of an invention or improvement for which someone else owns a patent issued by the government, without obtaining permission of the owner of the patent by contract, license or waiver.  and breach of contract.
