It doesn?t matter what age you are dating can be hard. When you begin to date you may feel anxious, panic, or other feelings that may make you call and cancel your date if it is too overwhelming. There are a few things to consider when you begin to date that will make your dating experience a success.

When you meet someone the first time you may know right away if you will have something in common. Other times the first impression someone makes may not be good but after a while it may turn out that you have something in common after all. What ever your age is you will need to know the basic dating guidelines to get you through the first five dates. After that you will know if this is Mr. Right or Mr. Wrong.

1st Date: Only give the basic information. If you don't expect to spend the rest of your life with that guy don't let him know personal information like your birthday, your favorite flower, color, your likes or dislikes, what you like to wear to bed or your favorite perfume.

2nd Date: If you have made it to the second date there must be something that you liked about him. Decide what it is and focus on it. Don't try to analyze everything that he says, does, how he laughs, etc.

3rd Date: Now you can let take you home. Up until now you should have been playing it safe by agreeing to meet your date instead of allowing him access to your home. During this date, try to make it more personal. Find out all you need to, and if needed, make yourself a list of questions that you want to know about him.

4th Date: Maybe you can imagine a year from now being with this guy or celebrating special occasions with him. Can you imagine bringing him home to meet friends and family? He just might be the one if you can think that far ahead. You still need to be on guard and play it safe but have fun. For the next date, tell him to plan something for just the two of you instead of just the usual going out to dinner or watching a movie. Get the feel of what it would be like to be a couple together spending time with each other.

5th Date: This is it. Decide right now if you want to continue seeing this guy or if you want to move on. If you want to continue, enjoy and have fun. If you have decided that you want to move on without him, practice how you are going to let him go. Decide if you want to go out in public do break up or if you want to plan a dinner for two. Don't break up over the phone no one likes that and you may find that he is unable to accept it.
