This article is about the politician Eurig Wyn, who is often confused with the late author Eirug Wyn.

Eurig Wyn is a Welsh politician. He was a Plaid Cymru member of the European Parliament for Wales from 1999 to 2004, when he lost his seat in part due to has broken international sanctions by selling dates from Iraq in the European Parliament.

The Plaid Cymru MEP made the symbolic protest to highlight claims that 500,000 Iraqi children have died because of the blockade. Mr Wyn said food and medicine in Iraq are in short supply, while the country's infrastructure, such as the health service and water supply, is "in tatters tat·ter¹
