Police officers who attended the scene were met by a barrage of glasses and bottles, as they kept Gavin, of Marston Lane, Bedworth, alive before paramedics arrived. He later died at University Hospital in Coventry from a stab wound to his abdomen.

A Bedworth man has been consistently named during police investigations but Warwickshire Police have failed to track him down.
