"Never has it been more important for board members, shareholders and unit owners to be aware of the legal, financial and regulatory issues that affect their homes," states Mr. Carlson. "Most buildings are living at the brink of their budgets dealing with sky-rocketing insurance rates, fuel costs and complying with legislative initiatives. This conference has been formulated to help them get a grip on expenses and discover alternative, and sometimes unconventional, methods to better manage and enhance their properties."

To further enhance the educational experience, the Federation has changed the conference format. Instead of, as in years past, having two or sometimes three seminars going on at the same time, there will be seven, 50-minute seminars in an auditorium setting.
