Date for election.

A BY-ELECTION will take place for a vacant seat to represent the Bodfor Ward on Rhyl Rhyl (rĭl), town (1991 pop. 22,714), Denbighshire, N Wales, on the Irish Sea at the mouth of the Clwyd River. A seaside resort, it was at its height in the 1960s and 70s, but suffered when British travel abroad subsequently increased.  Town Council.

The event will happen on Thursday, September, 3. If the election is contested, the polling station will be located at Rhyl Town Hall, Wellington Road, and will be open from 7am to 10pm.

Anyone wishing to stand as a candidate at this election should contact the returning officer returning officer

an official in charge of conducting an election in a constituency

Prospective candidates should submit their completed nomination papers to the Returning Officer, Room 235, County Hall, Ruthin, LL15 1YN by noon on August 6.
