to more than 3,000 users in the UK's Ministry of Defence and defense community.

The ISIS-CD allows users to quickly and easily search and retrieve current information on 4.5 million defense supply items and NATO stock numbers. Such information was previously available only after printing the results of very expensive, customized mainframe programming tasks. For a fraction of the cost of maintaining and distributing printed information, DCA now uses Dataware's software to deliver up-to-date information to each user's desktop, saving time and providing them with the tools they need to efficiently manage UK and NATO supply inventories.

The agreement follows the initial 1994 contract between the Ministry of Defence and Dataware to develop, produce, and regularly update the ISIS-CD catalog on a set of three CD-ROMs. Using Dataware's software, DCA has made millions of records of materiel ma·te·ri·el or ma·té·ri·el
