Datatec Systems Announces Key Additions to its Management Team.

Datatec Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DATCE), an IT services firm focused exclusively on large scale, complex information technology deployment and post-implementation customer care solutions, today announced three executive appointments to its management team.

Joel K. Baker has been appointed Director of Operations, Process and Quality Improvement. Mr. Baker has over 30 years of professional experience in information technology, the last three of which, have been as an industry consultant. Prior to that, Mr. Baker was Managing Director of (i)Structure, Inc., a Level 3 Communications, Inc. company, where he was responsible for systems integration projects, development of service offerings, and systems integration quality control. He has also served as Vice President, Development Center, Beneficial Corporation. Mr. Baker is a graduate of Indiana University and is the author of several books on information technology.

Brigante Hill has been appointed Regional Vice President of Sales. Mr. Hill has over 17 years of consulting sales and marketing experience in the outsourcing, enterprise software, and systems integration marketplace. Prior to joining Datatec, Mr. Hill was Director of Northeast Sales at Bowstreet Software. Mr. Hill also has held sales and business development positions at (i)Structure, Inc., Legent, and Metastorm Software. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Vernon Holden has been appointed Managing Director. Mr. Holden's 20 years of experience in the information technology services industry includes start-up management responsibilities in the areas of professional services and systems integration at both Genix Corporation, a division of Affiliated Computer Services, and PKS Information Services, Inc. At PKS, Mr. Holden was Vice President, Systems Integration. In that capacity, Mr. Holden was responsible for the development and delivery of customer software on a world-wide basis. Most recently he has served as an advisor and consultant to technology businesses. Mr. Holden has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Bethany College, Bethany, West Virginia.
