Burradon Juniors gave league leaders KYPC KYPC Kittery Point Yacht Club  Tigers a first-half lesson in their Rovers Under-Nine Winter League game.

Burradon opened the scoring, only for Jake Pearson to hit back for the Tigers.

A penalty in the last minute saw Burradon go in at half-time deservedly leading 2-1.

In the second period, Burradon took the game to the league leaders and scored their third goal.

    In the Amberley Under-Nine Winter League there were victories for FC Cullercoats (6-1 over Longbenton Lions), Coast Soccer (9-2 against Longbenton Pumas), Ponteland Milan (7-1 winners over Burnside Bears) and Blyth Spartans (4-0 against Whitley Bay).

    KYPC Magpies are yet to get off the mark in the United Under-10 WinterLeague as they went down 4-2 to a lively Burradon A side, the goals from Ross Snaith, David Amers, Connor Mishna and Christian Lowes for Burradon.

    Longbenton stayed top by overcoming Seaton Burn Youth 5-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Mitch Hollaway and strikes from Dominick Martin and Sean Nolan.

    KYPC Reds came from behind against Forest Hall Blues.

    The Blues struck first but this was cancelled out by Ryan Marley.

    A further counter from the restart by Corey Chapman put KYPC in the ascendancy.

    In the Under-10s City Winter League, Coast Soccer maintained joint top position with a 2-0 verdict over Forest Hall Reds courtesy of Jake Stephenson and Alex Forman.

    Cowgate Predators put an end to Northburn Wanderers' amazing start to the season by beating them 4-1 thanks to Connor Brown (2), Adam Entwhistle and Adam Bonner.

    There was plenty of action and goals galore in the Datastor Under-10s Winter League as FC Cullercoats beat Northburn Rovers 7-3, Ponteland Panthers notched seven against Burradon B's single strike and Seghill Juniors were 6-1 conquerors of New Fordley Tigers.
