Dataram announces memory solutions for Compaq Professional Workstation 5000.


PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 1997--Dataram Corporation, the world's leading provider of high quality memory enhancement products, announces the immediate availability if high capacity memory upgrades for Compaq Professional Workstation 5000. The new memory is available in four capacities: 16MB, 32MB, 64MB and 128MB upgrades. A 256MB option is also planned for release this quarter. Dataram offers the new upgrades as a cost-effective alternative to purchasing memory from the original equipment manufacturer or other memory producers.

225 memory compliments an existing Compaq product line which includes memory upgrades for the top selling Proliant Servers as well as other Compaq desktop products."

Dataram's upgrades are priced significantly lower than Compaq's. List prices are as follows: DRQ225/16 - $200, DRQ225/32 - $358, DRQ225/64 - $1245 and DRQ225/128 - $2495

Dataram will soon be releasing the 256MB module to optimize performance of this system.
