Dataram Releases Two First-to-Market 4GB Memory Upgrades for HP Workstations; Dataram's 4GB Memory Upgrades Double Maximum Memory Capacity for Hewlett-Packard's HP xw6200 and xw9300 Workstations.

: DRAM), a leading provider of server and workstation memory, today announced two first-to-market 4GB memory upgrades. These options, not available from the system manufacturer, double the maximum memory capacity of HP's xw6200 and xw9300 Workstations to 16GB and 32GB respectively.

The new 4GB DRHXW6200/4GB from Dataram is a DDR-2 400MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  PC2-3200 memory upgrade, that when added in pairs, enables xw6200 workstations with an 800MHz front-side bus to operate at a peak bandwidth and doubles the maximum memory capacity of the xw6200 workstation to 16GB.

Dataram's 4GB memory upgrade, DRHXW9300/4GB, for the dual AMD (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, www.amd.com) A major manufacturer of semiconductor devices including x86-compatible CPUs, embedded processors, flash memories, programmable logic devices and networking chips.  Opteron-based HP xw9300 Workstations, HP's latest high-end visualization workstation, allows customers to double the maximum memory capacity to 32GB.

In addition to these 4GB upgrades, Dataram offers a full range of memory upgrades for the HP workstations xw6200 and xw9300 as well as the xw8200 including 512MB, 1GB and 2GB options.
