2100Z/8GB allows customers to expand the current maximum memory capacity of the W1100z to 16GB and the W2100z to 32GB--the highest capacity available from Sun is 8GB and 16GB, respectively. The DRS2100z/8GB is an 8GB memory upgrade consisting of two 4GB DDR (Double Data Rate) Refers to an SDRAM memory chip that increases performance by doubling the effective data rate of the frontside bus. The W2100z features two AMD Opteron processors and is available with 1GB of base memory, upgradeable to 32GB with Dataram's memory upgrades.
