Dataram Announces Memory for New Compaq Proliant Servers.

Dataram Corporation (NASDAQ: DRAM) a leading provider of gigabyte-class memory for high-performance workstations and network servers, today announces immediate availability of memory products for the new Compaq ProLiant servers.

With up to two 733MHz Intel(R) Pentium(R) III processors and 128MB to 4GB of 133MHz ECC SDRAM memory in a 3U (3.5") chassis, the ProLiant DL380 is a highly flexible workgroup rack server. The ProLiant ML350 and ML370 also feature up to two 733MHz processors and 4GB of memory. The ML line also includes a dual 800MHz Intel Xeon(tm) processor model called the ML530.

Dataram's memory offerings are available in 256MB (DRQ133PRL/256), 512MB (DRQ133PRL/512), and 1GB (DRQ133PRL/1024) capacities. Each product is a single 133MHz ECC SDRAM module and up to four are supported in the ProLiant DL380, ML350, and ML370 servers. The ML530 supports up to eight 512MB modules to reach it's maximum capacity of 4GB.

The DL380 is Compaq's follow-on to the ProLiant 1850R and the first in the new DL line (density-optimized for rack-mount environments). The ProLiant ML350 is the follow-on to the ProLiant 800, the ML370 is the follow-on to the ProLiant 1600/1600R, and the ML530 is the follow-on to the ProLiant 3000/3000R. The ML line is positioned to provide maximized internal system expansion.
