8640/2GB) 4GB (DRH8640/4GB) and 8GB (DRH8640/8GB) upgrades from Dataram are available immediately. Each of Dataram's DRH8640 memory upgrades consists of a matched pair of 278-pin 533MHz ECC (1) (Error-Correcting Code) A type of memory that corrects errors on the fly. See ECC memory.

2 DIMMs developed specifically for the rx7640 and rx8640 servers. Memory is installed in one or more HP Cell Boards based on the new sx2000 chipset. The rx7640 supports one or two HP Cell Boards and up to128GB of Dataram memory. The rx8640 supports one, two or four HP Cell Boards and up to 256GB.

In addition to these upgrades, Dataram offers a full range of cost-effective memory upgrades for HP workstations and servers, many of which are not offered by HP.
