Dataram Announces Availability of Licensed Memory for Silicon Graphics Workstations and Servers.PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 1997--Dataram Corporation, a leading provider of gigabyte memory upgrades for UNIX UNIX Operating system for digital computers, developed by Ken Thompson of Bell Laboratories in 1969. It was initially designed for a single user (the name was a pun on the earlier operating system Multics). and Windows/NT workstations and servers, announces availability of a 128MB memory upgrade for Origin200(tm), Origin2000(tm) and Onyx2(tm) servers and workstations. Silicon Graphics will provide user support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services on Dataram memory installed in Silicon Graphics(tm) Origin(tm) servers and Onyx2(tm) workstations. Silicon Graphics customers may contract directly with the Silicon Graphics worldwide service organization for this service. "We are now offering Silicon Graphics users high-quality memory products that meet both Silicon Graphics and Dataram standards," states Alan Sibert, Dataram's director of marketing. Dataram upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing memory directly from the system manufacturer.
