Datamatic's MOSAIC Selected for Conservation Efforts in Georgia Tourist Community.

PLANO, Texas -- Datamatic Ltd., a leading supplier of flexible data collection solutions, was contracted to sole source the new MOSAIC[TM] hybrid automated meter reading system for the City of Tybee Island Water and Sewer Department in Georgia. Datamatic will supply and install 3,000 MOSAIC-class FIREFLY AMR units to improve water conservation and quality control among residences and businesses in the tourist community. MOSAIC is the industry's first universally-compatible AMR system capable of reading water, gas and electric meters via handheld, mobile and full mesh network collection platforms from the same endpoint.

Tybee Island is located in Chatham County, just 18 miles east of Savannah, Ga. The island resort town welcomes over 700,000 tourists annually, mostly during the spring and summer months.
