Datalogix announces alliance with SHL; Part of Datalogix Enterprise Services Partnership Program.

VALHALLA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 1995--Datalogix International, Inc., the leading open systems, client/server software provider for process manufacturers worldwide, today announced it has formed a strategic alliance with SHL Systemhouse Inc. (NASDAQ: SHKIF), a leading international systems integration and outsourcing firm.

Datalogix selected SHL as a charter member and its first systems integrator partner for its new Enterprise Services Partnership Program, which will pair Datalogix with best-of-class service providers and systems integrators to ensure successful, high-quality, and rapid software implementations throughout the world. Other members of the program include Oracle Corp., IBM, and Hewlett-Packard. As part of an extensive certification process, Datalogix is committed to providing in-depth training designed specifically for its services partners.

Datalogix will partner with SHL to support the implementation of its Global Enterprise Manufacturing Management System (GEMMS), the only full-featured, second-generation client/server solution for the process manufacturing market. First introduced by Datalogix in 1992, GEMMS was designed exclusively for formula- or recipe-based manufacturers such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage companies.

SHL offers customers cost-effective, rapid implementations in addition to comprehensive integration services.
