Datalink.net and Diversinet Partner to Deliver Secure Wireless

Diversinet Corp. (Nasdaq:DVNT) (CDN:DVNT.), a leading provider of security solutions for wireless e-commerce applications, today announced that it has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Datalink.net (AMEX:DLK), a leading Wireless Application Service Provider (w-ASP).

The LOI provides for a partnership and the implementation of a pilot program, where both companies will combine their core competencies to develop and implement a wireless enterprise solution with full security. Datalink.net will license Diversinet's Passport(TM) Certificate Server and Authorization server, which together enable strong authentication and digital rights management into its XpressLink(TM) platform. XpressLink(TM) is a leading platform that wirelessly enables Internet sites and e-commerce applications. More importantly, the resulting applications are carrier, device, and protocol independent.

Datalink.net will provide managed wireless CA (Certification Authority) services for its' customers, in addition to re-selling the Diversinet products for users that choose to manage their own CA service. Initial pilots based on the Palm device platform will roll out later this year. The two firms will also work together on joint marketing and sales activities.
