Datalink Corporation (Nasdaq:DTLK), a leading information storage architect, announced today it has named Tim Elliott product manager of storage services. Driven by increasing market demand, professional services represent a key growth area for the company.

Elliott will concentrate on identifying market opportunities, developing new storage services, and creating tools and practices to enhance the company's delivery capabilities. One area of near-term focus is the company's storage assessment practice. Combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection, the assessment practice includes a thorough examination of an organization's storage infrastructure and associated business needs followed by an in-depth storage assessment report. Each report details storage infrastructure strengths, weaknesses, and recommended methods for improving performance and mitigating risk based on industry best practices. This practice has proven effective in helping customers strategically align technology investments with budgets and business needs.
