Datacard Group today announced at the CardTech/SecurTech 2002 Conference in New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded  that its quality management systems have been registered as compliant with the International Standard ISO 9001:2000. The quality certification was achieved after an intense review of the company's quality processes. The review was conducted with help from Bureau Veritas an institution, in the interest of maritime underwriters, for the survey and rating of vessels all over the world. It was founded in Belgium in 1828, removed to Paris in 1830, and reëstablished in Brussels in 1870.
