Datacap's Cycle Faster Program Raises $20K for Cancer Research; Fundraiser Proceeds to Benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation.


TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Datacap announced today that its second annual Cycle Faster for Cancer Research event has raised almost twenty thousand dollars through pledges and sponsorships for the Lance Armstrong Lance Armstrong (born Lance Edward Gunderson on September 18, 1971) is a retired American professional road racing cyclist. During the AIIM Expo, Datacap's booth was the scene of some exciting competition for the benefit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Over thirty program sponsors and AIIM attendees competed on a racing bike attached to a virtual trainer provided by Philadelphia's Bicycle Therapy. Bicycle Therapy also provided two professional racers to demonstrate and assist in the effort. Fred Broce of GlaxoSmithKline won the grand prize, a Felt F4-C Bicycle.
