The dispute centered around a license agreement between DBA and Experian prior to infoUSA's acquisition of DBA. DBA claimed that Experian breached the license agreement by, among other things, providing data to third parties in violation of that agreement. Experian claimed that DBA improperly terminated the agreement. Both sides sought damages resulting from their claims of breach. The company has reviewed the Arbitrator's decision and believes that the amount of damages is not supported by either the law or the facts.
