About DataBook

DataBook is by far the most convenient and fastest way to back up any system, whether it's a desktop PC or laptop. Designed specifically for today's on-the-go lifestyle, DataBook also lets you take all your important files with you, safely and securely. DataBook drives are shock-rated at 10,000 G's, so they can withstand a fall of 30 inches. Typical hard drives will not survive a mere 1 inch drop.

DataBook is cartridge-free and sealed for reliability, so nothing can contaminate important data. With capacities of 2GB to 14GB, DataBook is an intelligent alternative to multiple floppies, Zip(R), Jaz(R) or SparQ(R) cartridges. About the size of a videocassette and weighing only 7oz, DataBook is ideal for transporting large data and graphics files, multimedia presentations and videos, as well as photos. Retail pricing, including encryptive backup software and parallel or PCMCIA kit, starts at $349.
