DataWorks Signs First Seven Value-Added Resellers For Sales & Support of Incuity EMI(TM) Software.

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. -- DataWorks Systems, a unit of Incuity Software Inc., today announced the signing of the first seven value-added resellers (VARs) who will sell and support the company's Incuity(TM) Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) software in the U.S., Europe and Asia/Pacific regions.

The seven new VARs include:

--AIMS Pty. Ltd., based in Australia and serving Australia, Malaysia and Hong Kong;

--Applied Control Equipment, based in Colorado and serving Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and New Mexico;

--Glocal Europe, based in the The Netherlands and serving Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg;

--GS Systems, based in Wisconsin and serving North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and parts of Iowa, Michigan and Illinois;

--Incuity Data Solutions, based in Oregon and serving Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Hawaii;

--Puffer-Sweiven, based in Houston and serving all of Texas, Mexico and Venezuela; and

--Scan Automacao Ltda., based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and serving Brazil.

Representatives from the initial VAR companies recently attended a two-day conference in Southern California to receive formal training on the new Incuity products, which are second-generation enterprise decision support systems.

Incuity HDA connects to a variety of off-the-shelf plant floor historian products - such as Wonderware's IndustrialSQL Server(TM) historian, the GE iHistorian, OSIsoft's PI database, Rockwell Automation's RS Bizwire Historian and any other OPC HDA-compatible historian - to access archived production data and allow users to manipulate, view, trend and report on it in the appropriate context.

Incuity EMI connects to multiple types of data sources across all levels of medium and large enterprises and offers more sophisticated capabilities for manipulating, viewing and sharing data throughout larger organizations. It can access information over any network, using standard browsers, and process it as requested so users can analyze it from within the application software they already use to do their jobs - whether it's automation control systems, word processors, spreadsheets, graphics, data mining or other programs.
