) prepaid calling card program with U.S. based Bradley Petroleum. The contract was generated directly as a result of DataWave's and MCI's prepaid calling card unit joint sales and marketing effort.

Under the agreement, DataWave will place 55 to 60 OTC units at convenience stores owned by Bradley in three western U.S. states. In addition, 10 to 15 DataWave Telecard Merchandisers (DTM's) will be installed at Bradley truck stops. Bradley will receive royalty payments based on the gross revenue generated by the machines. The three year contract is estimated to generate over US $2 million in revenues for DataWave.

DataWave's OTC program allows for mass distribution of prepaid calling cards in retail environments which do not lend themselves to the placement of DTM's. The hand-held OTC device activates time by swiping the calling card through a magnetic reader. The advantages of the OTC program to DataWave include minimal capital costs, more potential locations, and the ability to reach a larger market than with DTM's alone.

programs exceed the capabilities of competitive technologies due to better inventory management, lower carrying costs, and increased security against shrinkage.

"We looked at several prepaid calling card programs and DataWave's program provides the best overall solution for our needs," said Mike Euglow, Director of Marketing and Merchandising for Bradley.

Bradley Petroleum owns and operates 70 gas stations, retail outlets and convenience stores in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming under the trade styles of Bradley, Bradley Foodmart, and Sav-o-Mat. The company employs 300 people and has annual revenues in excess of $125 million.

DataWave recently installed 12 DTM's at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (IATA: SEA, ICAO: KSEA, FAA LID: SEA), also known as Sea-Tac Airport, is located in SeaTac, Washington, United States at the intersections of Washington State Route 518, Washington State Route 99 and , marking the first contract generated by the Company's recent distribution agreement with its long distance carrier. DataWave has also signed agreements with Amtrak Amtrak, the National Railroad Passenger Corp., authorized to operate virtually all intercity passenger railroad routes in the United States. Amtrak was created by Congress in 1970 in response to more than two decades of continuous operating deficits by privately run , Dennys, and K-Mart.
