DataViz' Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Client, RoadSync, Now Available for Nokia E-Series and N-Series Smartphones.


MILFORD, Conn. -- DataViz, Inc., leading provider of Office compatibility solutions for over 22 years, today announced that RoadSync, its Exchange ActiveSync client, is now available for S60 3rd Edition devices, including Nokia's new E-Series and N-Series smartphones. Based on the Exchange ActiveSync protocol licensed from Microsoft, RoadSync provides secure, wireless and direct push synchronization (1) See synchronous and synchronous transmission.

 with Microsoft Exchange Server Microsoft Exchange Server is a messaging and collaborative software product developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Microsoft Servers line of server products and is widely used by enterprises using Microsoft infrastructure solutions.  2003 for a variety of mobile devices. With the addition of this newly supported platform, DataViz' RoadSync is now available for five of the most popular mobile platforms: S60 3rd Edition, UIQ UIQ User Interface IQ (smartphones) , Series 80, Palm OS and Java MIDP (Mobile Information Device Profile) A programming interface (API) for cellphones and pagers for the Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME). It provides support for a graphical interface, networking and storage of persistent data for "MID Profile" applications,  2.0. Support for Windows Mobile The Windows platform from Microsoft for handheld devices, including PDAs, cellphones and Portable Media Centers. RoadSync for S60-enabled devices offers full mobile access to corporate e-mail, calendar and contacts from Exchange Server 2003, while eliminating the need for middleware servers, recurring service fees or subscriptions. Additionally, Direct Push technology, Remote Wipe security and Global Address List are supported when installed in combination with the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2), enabling more businesses to deploy a wireless e-mail solution for their workforce at a fraction of the cost associated with today's alternatives.
