DataTools introduces Easy BackTrack for Sybase; complementing the SQL-BackTrack suite of products, Easy BackTrack automates small database backup and recovery.

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 1995--DataTools Inc. announced Monday the release of Easy BackTrack, an entry-level backup and recovery product for Sybase.

Designed for smaller databases, Easy BackTrack automates backups and is fully upgradable to and compatible with the full SQL-BackTrack product. Easy BackTrack, available now, costs $1295.

Easy BackTrack performs physical backups of Sybase databases to a variety of media. It provides the following key features:

-- remote backups that let the user standardize backup procedures

    Easy BackTrack supports SYBASE version 4.2 and above, including
System 10.  Easy BackTrack is available now for SunOS, Solaris,
HP-UX and IBM AIX.  Each unit of Easy BackTrack costs $1295 and is
fully upgradable to and compatible with SQL-BackTrack for Sybase.
