DataMEG Corp.(OTCBB:DTMG) announced today that their jointly owned subsidiary, CAS Communications, Inc. (CASCO) is currently involved in "certain" business transactions that will cause them to move the scheduled April 7, 2003 Company conference call forward to a date to be determined.

The Company will make the new date available shortly.

Mr. Andrew Benson, President DataMEG Corp. stated, "CAS Communications, Inc. is currently involved in negotiations and discussions involving business transactions that will affect the Company. These on-going negotiations, involving the licensing, manufacture and distribution of the Multi Phase Poly Tone System (MPTC) are nearing completion. We expect to have information available shortly. It is important that we have all of the necessary information regarding these transactions complete and available when the conference call is conducted.
