DataLink Systems Corporation, (OTC/BB:DASY DASY Dosimetric Assessment System ), The Internet Portal to Wireless(TM) information provider, today announced record revenues for the first quarter ended June 30, 1998, nearly tripling the revenues of the same period of last year.

Their technology, which DataLink describes as a platform for an unlimited number of products, utilizes the Internet as the user interface, news wire feeds for information, and wireless devices such as pagers or PCS (1) (Personal Communications Services) Refers to wireless services that emerged after the U.S. government auctioned commercial licenses in 1994 and 1995. This radio spectrum in the 1.  phones, which is how the customers receive their personalized information.

The first quarter revenues reached $587,535, with a net loss of $1,286,004, or $0.63 per share, compared with revenues of $149,453 and a net loss of $875,807, or $0.45 per share last year. Revenues grew at a 293% rate during the first quarter compared to the same quarter last year, with gross margins increasing from 33% to 64% in the comparable period.
