) Conference--Using Technology to Improve Performance--didn't have to wait long to see one of the hottest new technologies in law enforcement. As they entered the conference, they each received a full-color photo ID produced by a DataCard(R) photo ID system.

 Lanata, the photo ID process provided two benefits for attendees. "The names, photos and other information printed on the cards made it easy for the alumni to get to know each other," Lanata said. "Plus, our alumni got a real, live demonstration of a DataCard digital photo ID system. It was a good learning experience."
