DataBeam's neT.120 Conference Server to support Microsoft NetMeeting Conferences; Partnering efforts, T.120 standards support ensure success for real-time Internet conferencing.

LEXINGTON, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 28, 1996--DataBeam Corp. today announced that its neT.120(tm) Conference Server will support Microsoft's NetMeeting(tm) conferencing product.

The two vendors are working together to ensure that NetMeeting interoperates with DataBeam's new real-time conference server.

DataBeam's neT.120 Conference Server, announced last month, is the industry's first standards-based, software-only server product for hosting multi-point conferences on the Internet. It leverages Web browsers and servers to dramatically simplify the process of setting up and participating in T.120-based multi- point conferences. The neT.120 Conference Server runs on the Windows NT Server 3.51 and can be used with Microsoft's Internet Information Server product. Pricing starts at $495 for eight concurrent users.

DataBeam's neT.120 Conference Server provides NetMeeting users with a workgroup or enterprise resource that offers:
