Data393, a locally owned co-location and managed Web hosting services company, today announced that it has adopted Plesk from SWsoft, the world's leading provider of hosting software, as its standard control panel for new dedicated server, shared and bulk reseller server customers.

Following an extensive review of the industry's best control panel products, Data393 selected the Plesk platform as giving server customers the most stability, features and management tools. Plesk 7 incorporates 60 new enhancements, including a new sub-domain manager, a multi-level trouble ticketing system, custom button and skin management, a site builder and osCommerce e-commerce software support. The software also features a newly designed Windows XP-like user interface, equipped with SpamAssassin, an open source anti-spam tool, and includes "Application Vault," an extendible application repository that allows point and click packaging, configuration and installation for hundreds of applications.
