Data Services Vice President Joins UBNetworks.

Universal Broadband Networks (Nasdaq:UBNT), an emerging integrated communications provider, Tuesday announced the hiring of Dennis J. Curcio as its executive vice president of Data Services.

Curcio joins UBNetworks after having developed and directed $300 million in business in various global ISP, telecommunications, ASP and other technology consulting projects for Cisco Systems and KPMG. Previously at Cisco, Curcio was instrumental in the development of alliances and partnerships that established Cisco's dominance in the $2.5 billion ISP-managed CPE market.

Before joining Cisco, Curcio co-founded Tangentt Internet, a pioneer in "business class" ISP services such as virtual private networks and instant e-commerce. In the early 90s, Curcio conceived and developed MarketplaceMCI, the World's first Fortune 500 e-commerce service, and had P&L responsibility for an annual budget of $100 million and 500 IT professionals. Curcio's additional achievements as a founder, developer, manager and exponent of both established and start-up information technology ventures are too numerous to mention.
