Captiva Software Corporation, the market leader in enterprise information capture software, today announced the successful implementation of its FormWare 4.0 software at Data Services Direct (DSD), a leading service bureau specializing in data capture and database services.

DSD is using FormWare to grow its service offerings quickly by utilizing over 250 in-office and remote production workers in both paper and image-based environments.

DSD, headquartered in Parsippany, NJ, with production centers in Woods Cross, UT and Baja California, Mexico, processes an average of 2.5 million forms and documents per month. They offer complete processing services including mail handling, scanning, imaging, document conversion, and fulfillment. Typical data conversion programs include credit card applications, warranty registrations, direct mail order processing, medical claim forms, returned mail processing, circulation, surveys, and others.

In 2000, DSD's new management team decided they wanted a proven, next-generation data capture solution that provided a standardized platform on which to grow their business. They wanted to build their business quickly by employing both an on-site and off-site workforce that could be managed and controlled effectively.
