Data Return Corporation Announces Addition of T. Geir Ramleth to Board of Directors.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 23, 1999--

Data Return Corporation (Nasdaq: DRTN) today announced that the Board of Directors has elected T. Geir Ramleth to the Board effective November 12, 1999.

Mr. Ramleth is founder and principal of GeirHeads, an Internet investment and advisory company. From December 1995 to December 1997, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Genuity, Inc., a pioneer in the advanced distributed Internet hosting and net sourcing market segment. The company was acquired by GTE Internetworking (formerly BBN). Before founding Genuity, he was responsible for Commercial Systems at Bechtel Group, Inc. and, prior to that, was Practice Director at Oracle Corporation. He was a co-founder of PageMart Wireless, Inc. where he served as Vice President and CFO. Mr. Ramleth has served as a director of UWI.com since January 1998.
