), a leading source of securities pricing, financial information and analytic tools to global institutional, professional and individual investors, today announced that the company has changed its corporate name to Interactive Data Corporation.

Effective Wednesday, June 20, Interactive Data Corporation will trade on the Nasdaq National Market under the ticker symbol Ticker Symbol

An arrangement of characters (usually letters) representing a particular security listed on an exchange or otherwise traded publicly. When a company issues securities to the public marketplace, it selects an available ticker symbol for its securities which investors

The re-branding to Interactive Data Corporation follows last year's merger between the former Data Broadcasting Corporation and FT Interactive Data.
