Nearly 70 percent of the vehicles introduced at the recent North American Auto Show, were designed with Dassault Systemes CATIA, the world's leading 3D product development solution. CATIA is currently used by 23 of the top 30 global automotive manufacturers and is the de facto global standard in automotive manufacturing. Both the Toyota Camry Hybrid giveaway and the AEI (Automotive Engineering International) Best Engineered Vehicle for 2007, the Lexus LS 460 were designed in CATIA with manufacturing processes simulated in DELMIA.
