Darryl Scott Joins AVIEL Systems, Inc., as a Vice President, Business Development.


MCLEAN, Va. -- R. John Chapel, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , AVIEL Systems, Inc., has named industry veteran Darryl Scott as a Vice President, Business Development, for the company.

About Darryl Scott

Adept at driving revenue growth and providing sales leadership, Mr. Scott brings two decades of government contracting experience to AVIEL. Immediately prior to joining AVIEL, he was Vice President and Director, Business Development, for ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) The built-in firewall in Windows XP. It provides a stateful inspection of packets which accepts only responses to requests originated by the user.  Consulting Group, where he succeeded in positioning the company to win contracts in several civilian agencies. From 2003 to 2004 he was Vice President, Business Development, for Arrowhead Global Solutions. Over a 15-year period, Scott served in increasingly responsible business development capacities, first for Intermetrics/AverStar, Inc., and then for Titan Systems Corporation, after AverStar was acquired by Titan.
