Daring duo fulfil dreams.


Daring workers from house-building company Charles Church's North-east division, in Newton Aycliffe, raised pounds 200 for charity Dream Come True when they took part in a sponsored bungee jump.

Lisa Ryder, a sales administrator, and Andi Ruggles, a senior architect, jumped from a 200ft crane at The Hillingdon Pub, Spennymoor.

Forest fun

GUISBOROUGH Forest and Walkway will mark St George's Day St. George's Day is celebrated by several nations of whom Saint George is the patron saint, including England, Portugal, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Macedonia and the Gora. Hearty thanks

SOUTH Cleveland Heart Fund has received another big boost from fundraising efforts in Middlesbrough. The SCHF committee would like to thank everyone at the Cochranes Club in Hall Drive, Acklam, who raised a fantastic pounds 3,457.38.

Charity carnival

A CARNIVAL to raise cash for Stockton's Butterwick Hospice will be held at Walworth Castle, near Darlington, on Bank Holiday May 26. There will be bouncy castles, roundabouts, trade stands and stalls.
