Hoffman has told how he showered naked with actress Susan Sarandon as a film crew looked on just moments after the pair met - because she dared him.

Hoffman, star of The Graduate, told C4 chat show host Graham Norton how he tried to stare her in the eye, but sneaked a peek when she picked up the soap.

The pair stripped when Sarandon turned up to the auditions for hit film Kramer Vs Kramer in which he starred.
