JEDWARD'S charmed life in The X Factor looks set to be extended again and a Lloyd v Danyl sing-off looks worthy of support, writes Lucy Conquest.

Recent results have shown that the programme is currently less about singing and more about the popularity of the contestants.

Last week pretty boy Lloyd Daniels featured in the bottom two for the second time but survived deadlock as Jamie Archer was sent packing. It might be third time unlucky for Lloyd if he is in the bottom two again - the teen idol is set to sing Faith as the contestants tackle songs by Wham and George Michael.

Danyl could be in trouble after reportedly throwing a strop over his song choice. Upsetting mentor Simon Cowell is not wise, especially as the 26-year-old was starting to win support after his recent image revamp.

Last week, Stacey Solomon gave her best performance and she looks a real threat to Joe McElderry and Olly Murs, while Jedward also have to be in the mix for an appearance in the final.

The ever-entertaining twins are set to perform 1980s hit I'm Your Man.

Cowell, who saved them the week before last, will surely want to keep the pair in, as they have the highest media profile and help attract million of viewers.
