Danskin reported a substantial revenue improvement for the fourth quarter ended December 30, 2000, with net revenues reaching $21,760,000, a 13.7% increase compared with $19,130,000 in the previous year. The Company also reported a substantial improvement for the fourth quarter of 2000, with a net loss reduced to $(2,881,000), or $(0.04) per share, compared to $(11,281,000), or $(0.36) per share for the comparable quarter of 1999.

For the fiscal year ended December 30, 2000, the Company reduced its net loss to $(9,274,000), or $(0.13) per share, an improvement of $11,712,000 compared to the net loss of $(20,986,000), or $(0.89) per share for fiscal 1999. Revenues for the year ended December 30, 2000 were $84,654,000, compared to $87,970,000 for the same period a year ago.
