DANNY DANNY Daniel  ZUKO sneaks nicely in at the bottom of the weights for the Blue Square "Fixed Brush" Novices' Hurdle Final (2.55) at Haydock today.

It's probably fair to say the chestnut has failed to live up to the promise of a bumper win at Uttoxeter on his racecourse debut for Paul Nicholls Paul Nicholls (born Paul Greenhalgh on 12 April 1979) is an English actor. His earliest role was in the BBC drama Earthfasts, but it was his character of Joe Wicks in EastEnders, which he played from 1996 to 1997, that first brought him fame.  in May 2007.

Having moved to Don McCain after his next start, Danny Zuko was without another victory until getting his head back in front over this course and distance last month.

Taking to the fixed brush obstacles like a duck to water, he cruised home by a comfortable six lengths from 11-10 favourite Western Whisky.

The ground was on the quick side by jumping standards, and it will be on top again today as he bids to follow up.

That victory came in a race that took little winning, and today's challenge is undoubtedly a sterner one.

But, under conditions that suit, Danny Zuko can belatedly be·lat·ed

Sue Smith's nine-year-old has been in admirably consistent form of late, including when making Prince Taime work hard for victory here two starts ago, and should once again give a good account.
